Noticing dark circle under your eyes can be annoying and embarrassing. They don’t look good on you. But for how long will you continue with the use of a concealer that offers a temporary result? Remember, when you clean off the concealer or make up before going to bed, the dark circles re-appears.
What actually causes the appearances of dark circles under your eyes? You may have thought aging is a contributing factor which is untrue. The major things that causes the appearances of the dark circles are sleep deprivation, stress, allergies, rubbing of the eyes, fluid retention and lifestyle behaviours like smoking, drinking alcohol and the likes.
If you have been spending ridiculous amount of money to try clearing off the dark circles under your eyes, pause and switch to natural remedy that will cost you very little amount of money but with a very effective result. Actually, I’m not looking down on the cosmetic product you use to do the magic but I’m very much concerned about the chemical substances used in the product. Although, the product seem perfect for you but considering the side effects it may bring you is something you should give a thorough thought.
Regarding the natural remedies we have the cucumber, coconut oil, lemon juice, rose water and tomato.
Cucumber: the use of this vegetable can get rid of dark circles by itself but if you want to get a quicker result, slice two thin cucumbers in a circular shape and dip in lemon juice. Store in refrigerator for five minutes before use. Bring them out and place each sliced cucumber on each eye closed. Kindly take precautions to avoid the lemon juice from entering into your eyes. Repeat this process twice a day for three weeks.
Coconut oil: By reason of its antioxidant and vitamin E contain in coconut oil makes it excellent for not just clearing the dark circles but also repairing damaged cells. It also has an anti-inflammatory properties which helps reduce swelling. To me the use of coconut oil is more convenient than cucumber. I tried cucumber but I have had to wait for like twenty five minutes for it to do its work before rinsing off with water. It’s a bit stressful for me and sometimes I sleep off forgetting the cucumbers on my eyes or they slide down by itself. So I find coconut oil more convenient for me. Just before you go to bed, take little quantity and massage under your eyes(specifically where the dark circles are)with it and off to bed. Rinse the next day with lukewarm water. Repeat this process once daily for two to three weeks.
Lemon Juice: Just like I mentioned in number 1 that to get a quicker result, you can mix cucumber in lemon juice and so on… You may also choose to use only lemon juice by soaking a cotton ball into it and applying it under your eyes. Leave for ten minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. This method should be done once a day. In few weeks you will see good result.
Tomato: tomato have bleaching properties which is known to lighten skin and fade off dark circles in no time. Mix one teaspoon of tomato juice and one-half teaspoon of lemon juice. Simply apply this mixture under your eyes and let it sit for ten minutes. Rinse with water. Repeat this remedy two times a week for a few weeks.
Rose Water: rose water does not only reduce dark circles but also relaxes tired eyes and rejuvenate the skin. Soak a cotton pad in rose water for three minutes, place the soaked pad directly on your closed eyes. Leave it on for ten minutes. Do this twice a day for two to three weeks.
When the dark circles finally fades off, you may stop. Sincerely, the above mentioned tips works but it takes determination and consistency to get an impressive result.
